About
I offered Web management services from '07-'09 as The Pixel Parlor, a reselling portal for the CSS/XHTML site builder service created by KarmaSites. KarmaCMS is a powerful, flexible, and easy-to-use content management system which grew out of a service for musicians. Hundreds of musician sites are hosted on their servers.
I'm in the process of relaunching my design services for Karma under a new domain.
Former Projects
Over the years I've designed a variety of projects including logos, brochures, tabloid newsletters, reports, and posters. Images of recent projects are viewable through my portfolio, which includes original sites designed contractually for a school Web service, a classical concert poster, logo projects, template adaptations, and original designs created through Karma's free CSS design tool The Karma Wizard.
Ongoing Projects
Since our marriage in 2004 I've helped my husband with his teaching studio and in promoting his services as a performer. I designed, and/or adapted, developed, promoted, and manage his sites:
The show site was awarded the 2009 Hometown Video's Best Website for Nonprofessional Producers by Alliance for Community Media.

Other Interests
During summer of 2009 I became interested in soundwork. The Tomatis Method (a.k.a. audio-psycho-phonology) is a root focus, which led to my certification as a provider of The Listening Program. (In my opinion, Dr. Tomatis' autobiography The Conscious Ear explains his theories best.) Advanced Brain Technologies' TLP program uses dynamic recording, a patent-pending audio boosting technique, and bone conduction technology to retrain the inner ear. The listening training is delivered through a ten- or twenty-week classical music series, which is available with or without nature sounds, via CDs or iPod, through quality headphones (typically Sennheiser, especially for the bone conduction option).
